Merlin YouTube Playlist Cleanup · Effective October 29, 2026
Merlin YouTube Playlist Cleanup is a private, personal-use automation operated by its owner. This policy explains how it uses Google and YouTube data.
Data the app accesses
The app uses Google OAuth permission to access the owner’s YouTube account. It reads one designated playlist and may remove playlist items after the corresponding video has been successfully processed, delivered, and verified. It does not delete YouTube videos or modify unrelated playlists.
How data is used
YouTube playlist identifiers, video identifiers, titles, and playlist timestamps are used only to identify new items, prevent duplicate processing, verify delivery, and perform the configured playlist cleanup.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials, tokens, delivery records, and processing logs are stored on the owner’s private Mac with restricted local file permissions. They are not stored by this website. Completed media is delivered only to the owner’s private media server.
Sharing and sale
Google user data is not sold, advertised against, shared with third parties, or used to train generalized artificial-intelligence models. The website does not provide accounts and does not collect visitor-submitted personal information.
Retention and deletion
Local records are retained only as needed to prevent duplicate downloads and verify safe cleanup. The owner can stop access at any time by revoking the app under Google Account connections and deleting the locally stored OAuth token and records.
